Vivian Wilson, the estranged daughter of billionaire Elon Musk, has been outspoken about her finances after kickstarting her modeling career earlier this year.
“I’m financially independent,” the 21-year-old shared on Saturday’s Teen Vogue 2025 Summit.
“I’m making money now. Vogue (cover) before Vogue, no one has a lot of assumptions. You have to deal with it.”
Wilson was featured on the March cover of Fashion Magazine, where he weighed his career options.
“I’m not making any money from being famous at all,” she told the outlet. “I make zero dollars and zero cents. I live in the minds of many people without rent.”
Initially, she shared that she was aiming to become a model before acknowledging that she once thought about making a living streaming on Twitch.
But Wilson said it would be “an absolute dream of attending a reality show.”
Earlier this month, Wilson also spoke to her finances, saying, “People expect a lot of money,” but she lives with some roommates to save her.
“I don’t spend hundreds of thousands of dollars at my disposal. My mother is rich, right? But obviously the other is a wealthy degree,” she said, referring to her father.
Wilson argued that she doesn’t want to be “very rich like a mask,” but that she is “a lot more fortunate than most people (her) in Los Angeles.”
In May, the transgender social media personality made her runway debut at the “RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars” season 10 event in New York City.
Page Six’s “Virtual Reali-Tea” got footage of Wilson turning his hair over and breaking the movement as if the onlooker cheered him on.
The following month it was revealed that she will be appearing in Patigonia’s “Save Her!” Los Angeles drug show.
At the time, Wilson voiced that he was “first time performing on drugs,” writing, “Oh, I’m so excited.”
By September, Wilson had debuted New York Fashion Week at the “Miss USA 1991” event hosted by designer Alexis Bitter.
“I purposely cast each contestant to represent the US state where trans rights are attacking,” Bitter told Page 6 as Wilson sports the “Miss South Carolina” sash.
Musk married Vivian’s mother, Justin Wilson from 2000 to 2008, and Exes shares six children.
