Challengers star Josh O’Connor and Saltburn actress Allison Oliver have kept their relationship in very quiet. Neither of them talks much about their dating life in general, and they don’t talk specifically about potential connections. Also, although the pair barely appear in public places, fans seem to think the talented duo is definitely looking at each other.
In the past, O’Connor was officially linked to only a few people when it comes to romance. He joked to singer FKA Twiggs about the long-standing crash in an August 2023 interview with GQ.
“I really shouldn’t say this, but it’s hilarious. I was basically in a band called Orange Output and tried to get a twig to go out with me,” he admitted. “I’m the lead singer and one of the lyrics I wrote was ‘I’m crazy about crack, Motherfucker.” The closest thing I had to crack was Coco Pop. ”
The actor said he never responded, adding, “I don’t think I know who I am.”
FKA Twigs told GQ: “I’m definitely not cool and not particularly popular, so I’m very happy he tried to do it.”
In 2019, Daily Mail reported that O’Connor was dating Jonah Hauer-King’s younger sister Margot. There was no notice that they had broken up.
In 2022, while promoting a conversation on the Hulu series with friends, Oliver told Glamour that she was in a relationship with Enna Hardwicke, another Irish actor who played a role in ordinary people. Both shows are based on Sally Rooney’s novels.

O’Connor is reportedly a guest at Oliver’s sister Lauren’s wedding in Belmondsea, south of London. It’s not clear whether he was there as one of her pluses or as a family guest.
November 2024
On November 9th, according to the Sun, the pair was seen in Bologna, Italy. They were walking and holding hands and stopped to take a selfie with the fans. They then headed to the film and photography library.
“Josh and Allison have a lot in common and enjoy getting to know each other from the spotlight,” the source told the publication. “Despite their big role, they prefer to wander around the library rather than big, fascinating events.”
On November 25th, they were spotted in New York City in photos shared by the Daily Mail. They were immersed in deep conversation and drinking komcha. O’Connor wore a vintage jacket printed with a Coca-Cola logo, a T-shirt and sneakers. Oliver wore a white shirt, a blue vest and a black leather jacket.

The couple were spotted together at a screening of the Masterminds of the Cannes Film Festival and shared a sweet moment on Oliver’s dress on the red carpet.
They also posed with his parents, Emily and John.
September 2025
They took another photo together on September 2nd at the New York premiere of Sound History at the Walter Reed Theater.
