Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly began planning their wedding. The couple got engaged in August. Swift’s latest album, The Life of a Showgirl, is planned for October 2025.
Taylor Swift and Travis Kelse announced their engagement on August 26th, and a source who spoke with US Weekly on Friday said plans for the wedding have begun.
“We’re still in the planning stages very early. There’s no venue or location set yet,” the insider said, adding that the event “is likely to be early next year.”
“She has been doing a lot of fun research by studying venues and locations,” the source added. “She’s in the idea stage and enjoys it because she’s so creative.”

But the bride is also far from settling down to some big points, like what she wears when walking down the aisle.
“Nearly every major designer reached out to offer her to design her wedding gown,” interior explained. “She was so blown away, overwhelmed and flattered at the same time, but she hasn’t made a decision.”
The added: “They don’t want a big over-the-top wedding with a bunch of people. It will be private with friends and family, not many celebrities or random people. It makes sense and is surrounded by people that are special to them.”
The couple is clearly very well known, but insiders say “they are realistic and ordinary,” saying, “they are not flashy people who want a $20 million fantasy wedding. She doesn’t want dignity and circumstances. It makes them even more intimate.”
Swift is getting ready for the release of his next studio album, The Life of a Showgirl, in October, so he’s pretty busy right now.
