Justin Theroux has joined the cast of the upcoming Apple TV+ series Wild Things.
The 8-episode series is based on Apple’s original podcast, Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy. Theroux will be appearing alongside previously announced leads Jude Law and Andrew Garfield. Theroux plays Steve Wynn, a Las Vegas hotel tycoon who brought Siegfried and Roy to Mirage on the strip.
The show’s official logline states that it “tells the story of the wild ride relationship between two of the greatest showman Majician in history.” Along with White Tiger, he is tasked with turning the City of Sin into a family-friendly destination.
Theroux previously appeared in the Apple TV+ series The Mosquito Coast, which aired two seasons. His other recent TV credits include Netflix’s “Ronning Point” and HBO’s “White House Plumber.” Theroux is known for his starring roles in shows like “The Leftovers” and for films like “Mulholland Drive,” “American Psycho,” and “The Girl on the Train.”
He is represented by Lighthouse Management & Media, CAA and Felker Toczek.
John Hoffman develops television series and serves as executive producer, showrunner and director. Both Law and Garfield will be executive produced in addition to starring. Matt Shakman is attached to executive produced and directs the first episode. Brian Glaser will be executive produced for Imagine Entertainment along with executive producers Tony Leondis and Kathy Syrick. Will Malnati, who came up with Wild Things: Siegfried & Roy, will produce the project with Stephen Rekkert.
