“The Walking Dead” script supervisor Amy Blanc Lacy, 62, died on September 5th after being hit with a hit and run four days ago. Atlanta police reported that the man was charged with murder by a vehicle in her death.

According to a report from the Atlanta Police Department, 31-year-old Buck Rollins was driving westward on Northside Parkway NW at around 5pm on September 1st. He then lost control of the car and crashed into a Toyota Prius, occupied by Lacey and her two adult sons. All three were rushed to the hospital and Lacey was injured on September 5th after being excluded from life support.

According to an arrest affidavit obtained by people, Rollins reportedly was 90 mph in the 45 mph zone when he ran through the curb and launched the car into the air into the Prius.

After the collision, the affidavit stated that Rollins further down the Palan Mountain road and parked the vehicle near Interstate 75 Bridge. He reportedly was found in video removing the golf club from the car and “casually leaving the scene of the accident.”

Atlanta police reported that Rollins was later charged with vehicle, assault and running, reckless driving and speeding murder.

“The Walking Dead” star Curry Payton went to Instagram to honor his longtime colleagues.

“Amy. You were always an angel,” he wrote. “I’m looking for you with all the little beautiful things. I love you and miss you.”

Erin Lee Kerr, who worked with Lacey on “Mulder: The Death of a Family,” said: “I spent countless times over the past year with hundreds of colleagues. I was an ostensibly scripted director, but she was more than that.

Outside of “The Walking Dead,” Lacey also worked as a scriptwriter and supervisor on shows such as “Kingdom Business,” “Loki,” “MacGyver,” and “Halt and Catch Fire.”
