Zendaya and Tom Holland won’t be attending tonight’s acting awards. Neither actor was nominated because there were no projects eligible for the 2026 awards ceremony. Both have highly anticipated films coming out later this year and will be considered for the 2027 awards ceremony.
Zendaya and Tom Holland have released several highly anticipated film projects this year, setting the stage for both actors to enter the 2027 awards season. But for tonight’s Actor Awards (formerly known as the SAG Awards), Holland and Zendaya spent the night away from the Los Angeles event. Neither had a project for the ceremony and no project was selected to present.
However, Zendaya has already started press for the drama, which will be released on April 3rd. Last April, Zendaya’s longtime stylist Law Roach teased that Zendaya would be rocking a lot of red carpet looks in 2026.
He said she and Holland “are both in a lot of movies this year and there’s a lot of premieres next year, so we’re going to see a lot of red carpets.” “I will take a break for 2026.”
The actress and her co-star on the show, Robert Pattinson, recently spoke about their project in an interview. Talking about why she keeps her private life, she said, “What I admire about you is that you keep so much of your life to yourself, which is beautiful, especially having a family[with his partner Suki Waterhouse]. I’m learning how to balance those things. At the end of the day, you’re a public figure, so there’s nothing you can do, but some things are for yourself and your loved ones, and then you can play around.” You can also allow that space between your anonymity to someone else, and they won’t necessarily let you in — I mean, we just talked about being eloquent and explaining what I’m trying to say. I try to be honest about who I am in public, not just for my characters (so the audience sees me as myself and not off-screen), but I also try to be honest about who I am in public. ”
