Swift did not play in any away games last season. In October 2024, a source explained to Page Six that safety concerns were a major factor in her decision, saying, “She won’t go anywhere unless she knows the venue well and has thoroughly scouted and secured it in advance.”
The singer has gone the entire season without being photographed arriving at Arrowhead Stadium, home of the Chiefs, in Kansas City, Missouri. A source told Us Weekly last month that this was also by design. Swift felt there was a lot of attention on her for being “too over the top.” The couple has generally kept their relationship more private this year, but they went on two public dates in New York City last week.
Swift is preparing to release a documentary series about her Ellas tour on Disney+ next month. The trailer teases that the six-part series will offer an intimate glimpse into her relationship with Kelce and how they supported each other during her tours. There is also footage of him attending a football game while on the road wearing a Kansas City Chiefs uniform.
She told Jimmy Fallon earlier this fall that her partner is on her mind whenever she plays. At the time she was recording the Tonight Show interview, the Chiefs were playing an away game against the Jacksonville Jaguars. She admitted to the host: “It’s game day. I’m pretty confused in my head.”
