Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky are reportedly still just friends after a “touching and warm” New Year’s Eve celebration sparked rumors of them getting back together.
“They have not gotten back together or rekindled their romance,” a source told Us Weekly Tuesday.
However, the source added that there is “still a lot of love” between the separated couple and that they are “in a very good place right now” even after announcing their split in July 2023.
“Kyle and Mau have done a good job of maintaining normalcy around their daughters, especially during the holiday season,” the source said, claiming it was because of their children that they recently reunited.
Richards, 56, and Umanksi, 55, have four daughters, Farah, 37, Alexia, 29, Sophia, 25, and Portia, 17, with Richards having a son with her first husband, Ghraish Al-Jufri.
“The girls aren’t pushing for a romantic reunion either,” the source pointed out. “Of course, it would be great if the separation was called off, but the family knows that it is unlikely to happen.”
“They are really friends now and still have a lot of fun together,” the source said. “They have love for each other, but that doesn’t mean they’re going to get back together.”
“Everyone is very happy. They have come a long way and are back in a good place,” the source concluded.
Representatives for Richards and Umansky did not immediately respond to Page Six for comment.
According to our eyewitness, the pair “visibly looked like they were together” at Kate and Cade Hudson’s starry New Year’s Eve party in Aspen, Colorado.
A source exclusively told Page Six that they were “arm-in-arm and very touching and warm to each other throughout the night.”
We previously reported that the exes reunited with their daughters in Aspen on December 24th. During a family vacation, Sofia posted a sweet video of her parents enjoying a movie night together, further fueling reconciliation rumors.
Notably, the former couple has not yet filed for divorce, but both have continued their relationship after their separation.
The agency’s founder had romantic relationships with a number of much younger women. He was recently photographed with 34-year-old “FBoy Island” star Celeesa “CJ” Franco just before Thanksgiving.
As for the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star’s love life, she admitted on a recent episode that she “fell hard in love” and “dated” someone after her breakup with Umansky.
Although she didn’t reveal who her special someone was, romance rumors with country singer Morgan Wade were previously rife.
