Varve has exclusively reported that Verve has hired Amanda Lee as an agent for its talent team.
Lee joined Verve from M88 and had been working as a talent manager since December 2024. Prior to that, he was an agent at CAA for nearly 13 years.
“We are thrilled to welcome Amanda Lee to Verve,” said Sean Grumman, partner at Verve and head of talent at the agency. “Amanda is known for championing and advancing creative careers, and we are inspired by her vision, passion and accomplishments.”
During her career, Lee has represented clients including “Shang-Chi” star Simu Liu, Sheryl Lee Ralph, Charles Melton, Melissa McCarthy, Laura Tan, Alexandra Shipp, Suki Waterhouse, Jalen Best, Kelly Marie Tran, Carla Souza, Yuh-Jung Yun, Justin H. Ming, Teo Yu and Gabrielle Union.
Lie’s hiring comes as Verve celebrates five years since launching its talent team under Grumman. Other members of the team include veteran agents Josh Rahm and J.R. Ringer, New York-based Barrett Bischoff and Lacey Hunsucker.
“I think we have a really customized approach to how we treat our clients,” Grumman said in a previous interview with Variety. “I think we’re taking the time to listen to them. What do they want to do? And we’re trying to build with them. I think we have time to listen a little bit more. And I think the other teams are really engaged and excited to do it with us. And if they need something, we help them. If we need something, they help us.”
