After Monday night’s historic game, Travis Kelce pledged allegiance to his hands, his team and his atmosphere.
A Kansas City Chiefs player scored his 100th career touchdown in a game against the Washington Commanders at Arrowhead Stadium, and apparently performed a Taylor Swift dance to celebrate.
The tight end’s touchdown dance looked like he was choreographing the music video “Ophelia”.
The 36-year-old athlete pumped his fist up and down as he looked up at the “luxury suite” where his fiancée was sitting with Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Mahomes, as the broadcaster noted.
“Human exclamation mark. Doing his FOO choreography,” one Swiftie tweeted, while another added: “Look at his hands and the vibe part?? 13/10 No notes.”
A third Swiftie asked, “Is this woman doing Ophelia’s Destiny Dance?” and, as one person confirmed, “Wait, Travis did Ophelia’s Destiny Dance.”
Swift, 35, was caught on camera adoringly cheering Kelce on during the match.
In one playful moment, the Grammy winner dramatically swooned as the “To Catch Kelce” alum completed the play.
Kelce scored his 100th touchdown, becoming one of only four tight ends in NFL history to reach the milestone.
She wore a bright red ensemble for the big moment, from her turtleneck to her skirt to her boots.
Since the August game, the songwriter has kept a low profile at Kelce games, but has appeared at post-game celebrations throughout the season.
She released “The Life of a Showgirl” earlier this month and has been busy promoting the album.
“Ophelia’s Destiny” is one of many songs about Kelce, along with “Wood” and “Opalite.”
She included numerous nods to her partner in the music video for the record’s lead single, including him catching a football and walking past a door with his jersey number on it.
Swift also hung a photo of Kelce on her vanity mirror in one scene.
She and the NFL star have been dating since the summer of 2023 and are rumored to be tying the knot in an “intimate” ceremony in Rhode Island.
