New details have emerged after Tom Hardy reportedly left the Paramount+ drama Mobland after two seasons.

According to the Daily Mail, the actor slammed his co-star Helen Mirren, 80, for his behavior on set.

“Tom’s character is charming. He’s a gentle person, but when the cameras stop he’s the complete opposite. Dame Helen is fun. She’s a total professional and has worked with so many people over the years,” one source said.

At one point, Millen caught Hardy, 48, playing games on his cell phone when he was supposed to be elsewhere, sources claimed.

“She is becoming increasingly dissatisfied with Tom and his attitude,” they claimed. “He is sometimes late for filming, which is a nuisance to Dame Helen, who is very professional and disciplined. His tone, along with his tardiness, is something Dame Helen doesn’t like.”

The source added that Millen “expects better” and “holds people to high standards.”

Hardy “struts like a king” on set and is “very, very arrogant,” the source claimed.

They claimed that even “backstage staff” believed Mirren “no longer seemed happy” in scenes with her co-stars.

“Everything has become quite personal between them,” the source said. “I feel like Tom is winding her up.”

A source said, “It’s a great program, and everyone is working happily on the production. It’s a shame that there is such an atmosphere.”

Another source claimed that Hardy would provide notes on the script, even though no one asked.

One source even claimed that the “Legends” star was upset that Mirren and Pierce Brosnan’s story was given more weight than her own on the crime show.

There were also rumors that there was tension between Hardy and executive producer Jez Butterworth.

Insiders claimed Mr Butterworth had threatened to resign following mounting problems.

Page Six has reached out to representatives for Mr. Hardy and Ms. Millen for comment.

A source told Variety on Friday that Hardy was removed from the show due to “on-set issues” with Butterworth and 101 Studios.

Pac News reports that the British actor was constantly showing up late, had lines changed, was dissatisfied with the ensemble cast, and was frequently taking notes on the script while filming Season 2 of “Mobland.”

The paper also claimed that Paramount fired Mr. Hardy when Mr. Butterworth threatened to walk.

Sources say even staff no longer believe Mirren (who is pictured in the show) looks happy in scenes with Hardy. Jason Bell/Paramount+

Hardy starred in the hit drama as a fixer for a London crime family.

In addition to Brosnan, 73, and Mirren, Mobland also stars Paddy Considine, Joanne Froggatt, Lara Pulver, Anson Boone, Jasmine Jobson, Mandeep Dhillon and Daniel Betts.

According to Variety, production on Season 2 wrapped in March, but a premiere date has not yet been announced.

The show has not yet been renewed for season 3.

Despite the current tensions, Butterworth had a different perspective last summer.

After the first season ended with Hardy’s character being accidentally stabbed by his wife Jean (Froggatt), Butterworth revealed that the star was not being written out.

“No, we don’t mean that. We love Harry. We love Tom,” Butterworth insisted to the Post in June.

The producer added that he hopes the series “continues for as long as it captivates, delights and inspires viewers.”

Meanwhile, last May, Hardy explained to Esquire that he agreed to appear on Mobland because it would allow him to work “different muscles” in terms of acting.

But he also opened up about his physical problems, including “two knee surgeries” and a herniated disc in his back.

“I also have sciatica,” Hardy continued toward the exit. “So, I have it… plantar fasciitis? Where did it come from? And why? And I also pulled a tendon in my lower back.”

He elaborated that “everything is in shambles now and it’s not going to get better.”
