It is truly a fiery picture.
Two of Taylor Swift’s longtime friends, Cara Delevingne and Ed Sheeran, took unexpected sides in her feud with pop star Charli XCX over the weekend.
Delevingne and Sheeran posed for a friendly group photo with Charli after Swift, 35, appeared to show disdain for her fellow singer, 33, on “Actually Romantic.”
The trio posed with actress Rachel Sennott at the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday.
Delevingne, 33, posted a photo on Wednesday in an Instagram slideshow documenting the event.
“@theacademy gala dumpster! Scroll through to reveal the truth behind the glitz and glamour,” the model wrote, referring to the torn dress.
The ‘Paper Towns’ star stunned in a sparkling dress by Tamara Ralph, while Sheeran rocked a classic black tuxedo.
Charlie smoldered in a leather ensemble with a see-through lace bodice.
Notably, the British songwriter appears to diss Swift with her 2024 hit “Sympathy Is a Knife,” in which she sings about someone “taking advantage of[her]insecurities.”
Earlier this month, Swift appeared to be clapping back with “Actually Romantic,” a song from her album Life of a Showgirl.
She likened Charlie to “a toy Chihuahua barking at me from a small purse.”
Charlie has yet to address the headline, dodging the question in a recent Vanity Fair cover story, but in the interview he slammed tour documentaries like Swift’s upcoming Ella tour film.
The three-time Grammy winner is a long-time friend of Delevingne, and the pair even spent time together at Glastonbury Festival in June.
As for Delevingne, she met Swift in 2013 and they briefly lived together before breaking up a few years later.
Meanwhile, Swift and Sheeran have been close since 2012, but the Daily Mail reported last week that their friendship is currently “strained.”
The “Shape of You” singer was said to have felt “upset” when Swift released her album three weeks after her latest song, “Play.”
When Swift got engaged to Travis Kelsey in August, Sheeran made headlines by admitting to Andy Cohen that he found out about the milestone “like everyone else” on social media.
Swift defended this in an Oct. 6 interview on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon,” pointing out that Sheeran doesn’t have a cell phone.
