Taylor Swift is the queen of Easter eggs.
While out and about in New York on Monday, Swift continued to make fashion references to Travis Kelce and Elizabeth Taylor, two very important people and muses in her life.
Swift, pictured with her father Scott, wore a blue striped Staud dress ($325), which she accessorized with a bright yellow Lady Dior bag ($9,500) and Christian Louboutin sandals ($1,195).
But what really stood out was her jewelry choice.
The singer gave a nod to fiancé Kelsey’s birthstone, an opal, as well as her hero Taylor, who dedicated a song to Kelsey in Showgirls, with a bracelet and ring that once belonged to the “Cleopatra” star herself.
Darlene de Cedre’s suite originally consisted of two gold bracelets, matching drop earrings, and a ring, but Swift only wore one bracelet and matching ring on her night out.
As the auction house confirmed to Page Six Style, the collection was first auctioned for $6,000 as part of Taylor’s estate at Christie’s in December 2011, and later sold for $125,000 through 1stDibs.
According to the listing, the jewelry was purchased directly from a jeweler in 1999.
Fans can also purchase a bracelet version. However, it includes a lobster clasp closure rather than the Swift toggle. Price is $32,530.
She also added sparkle with Dana Rebecca diamond hoop earrings ($3,995) and a sparkling horseshoe pendant necklace.
Swift has been keeping a fairly low profile since the end of March, and appears to be in last-minute planning mode for her July wedding.
Earlier this month, Swift returned to New York to accompany Kelce to Tommy Hilfiger’s photo shoot in Central Park. The pair were then seen heading into Casa Cipriani for a date night, although they were hidden under umbrellas.
Swift and Kelsea are set to wed in the Big Apple on July 3rd, and we’re pretty sure the bride’s something blue comes from her opal jewelry.
