Taylor Swift began her weekend with Selena Gomez’s wedding in California, but later flew to Kansas City, Missouri, cheering for Travis Kelse during a game against the Baltimore Ravens at Arrowhead Stadium. Sources tell Elle that Swift quietly attended an afternoon sporting event, but she had not taken any photos at the stadium.
This is the second match without watching the Kansas City Chiefs game. She took part in Kelce’s home game two weeks ago. The Chiefs faced the Philadelphia Eagles. In that game, the singer appeared to enter the building behind the bulletproof mobile barrier.
Last season, Swift only participated in home games. She was not seen in the away games this season. In October, sources explained to Page 6 that the decision was primarily due to security concerns. The insider explained, “She won’t go anywhere unless she knows the venue closely, so she has been thoroughly scouted and secured in advance.”
Swift and Kelce have kept more relationships private this year. Following the Chiefs’ Super Bowl loss in April, sources told Weekly:
Kelse recently suggested that he was completely focused on his performance on the field. In a recent episode of his podcast, New Heights, he said planning a wedding with Swift “will be easy. We’ll have to find a way to win a football match first.” Currently, the Chiefs have lost two of their three season games. But today they seem to be beating the Ravens.
Swift has been excited for months about his fiancée’s NFL season. In June, sources told people: “Taylor is planning to take part in as many games as possible. They both had such demanding schedules for a long time, so spending time where things aren’t completely confused feels like a welcome change,” he said.
The insider added, “It’s an opportunity for them to settle for more everyday things and they’re really happy about it.”
