Stefon Diggs has filed a defamation lawsuit against Christopher Blake Griffith over claims that the NFL star drugged and sexually assaulted him in 2023.
In court documents filed on Oct. 1 and obtained by TMZ, the New England Patriots star claimed that a “would-be social media influencer” fabricated a false story about the alleged incident at Diggs’ home in Rockville, Maryland, in May 2023.
In the lawsuit, Diggs claimed that after attending a charity basketball game in Washington, D.C., he went to a club with Griffith and other influential people. After the club trip, everyone returned to the wide receiver’s house.
According to documents obtained by TMZ, Diggs entered the bedroom and claimed his assistant asked Griffiths to leave the house.
But two years later, Griffith claimed on social media that Diggs “drugged and attempted to sexually assault” her and conspired to kill her.
Mr. Diggs alleged in his complaint that Mr. Griffith not only posted the allegations online to his approximately 100,000 followers on Instagram, but also tagged Ugg and actress Sarah Jessica Parker, who posed with the NFL star in a campaign for the company’s shoe company.
Diggs, 31, is seeking damages and attorney fees. However, the exact amount is not disclosed.
Griffith’s attorney, Jake Lebowitz of Posey Lebowitz PLLC, denied Diggs’ “fabricated” claims in a statement to Page Six.
“Mr. Griffith looks forward to showing the world in court that, regardless of the fairy tale concocted by Mr. Diggs’ high-priced New York lawyers, Mr. Griffith is the victim of Mr. Diggs’ unwanted sexual advances and his brother’s violence,” Libowitz said.
“Not only are we defending against these false allegations, but a counterclaim for sexual assault is also expected to be filed soon,” the lawyer added.
In August, Griffiths said on his Instagram Story that he was “disgusted” that Ag had hired Diggs as the face of its campaign after the social media star filed a police report earlier that month about the alleged 2023 encounter.
Griffith also shared a copy of the report, in which he claimed that the former Houston Texans star “conspired” to “drug and sexually assault” him on May 22, 2023, and then kill him to “prevent his gay and bisexual secrets from being exposed.”
In the police report, Griffith claimed that Diggs provided her with “candy” that she did not know was “laced with drugs.”
He then claimed Diggs “put his tongue” in Griffith’s ear as he “kissed” her.
Griffiths also claimed in the police report that the three men asked her to keep quiet about what allegedly happened.
He claimed he was then “stripped” of his clothes, “robbed” of his belongings, “beaten and forced into a car” and driven to an unknown location. Mr. Diggs denied the allegations.
The former Minnesota Vikings player welcomed a baby with his girlfriend, rapper Cardi B, earlier this month.
Diggs is also the father of daughters Nova and Charlie with two different women.
In September 2025, Page Six reported that a woman named Eileen Lopera filed a paternity suit against Diggs, claiming he was the father of her daughter Charlie, who was born in April of the same year. A subsequent paternity test confirmed that Diggs was the father.
