The first look of Peacock’s “Pony” has been released. The eight-episode series will premiere on January 15th.
Set in 1977 Moscow, “Ponies” follows two women who work anonymously as secretaries at the American embassy until their husbands die mysteriously in the Soviet Union. Bea (Emilia Clarke) and Twilla (Haley Lu Richardson) begin working together to solve the mystery of her husband’s murder, but they become CIA operatives and uncover a Cold War conspiracy.
Additional cast includes Adrian Lester, Artyom Gilts, Nikolas Podanyi, Petro Ninovsky, and Vic Michaelis.

Hulu has released a first look at The Secret Life of Mormon Wives: Season 3 Reunion Special, which is set to premiere on December 3 on Disney+ and Hulu. The special will be hosted by Vanderpump Villa star Stassi Schroeder.
The special will feature conversations with Taylor Frankie Paul, Jen Affleck, Whitney Leavitt, Jesse Gatikaula, Layla Taylor, Miranda Hopps, Macy Neely, Mikayla Matthews and Demi Engeman. The reunion will also include unseen footage that delves deeper into the season’s biggest scandal.

Lyrical Media will start Lyrical Animation with the acquisition of Line Mileage. acob Robinson will serve as head of lyrical animation, Daniel Dominguez will serve as creative director, and Brad Graeber will advise the company as a production consultant.
Lyrical Animation will initially focus on storytelling across film and television, leveraging adult animation and adult animation features.

Netflix has released the first trailer for the new “Sesame Street” holiday special, “Elmo and Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas.”
In “Elmo and Mark Rober’s Merry Gift Mass,” Elmo and characters from Sesame Street team up with former NASA engineer Mark Rober to create a special gift for the Merry Gift Mass exchange. The special will debut three new original songs: “Merry Giftmas,” “Failure is Awesome,” and “The Best Christmas Gift is You.”
“Elmo and Mark Rober’s Merry Giftmas” was written by Halcyon Parson and executive produced by Scott Lewers, Sal Perez, Mark Rober and Kay Wilson Stallings.

Dr. Jane Goodall will be posthumously awarded the Real Screen Action Award at the 2026 Real Screen Awards Ceremony on February 3 in Miami, Florida.
This award recognizes individuals whose unscripted, nonfiction film and television content makes a difference in positive change. Dr. Goodall demonstrated this throughout his long career as an animal scientist and conservationist, and was featured in documentaries ranging from the 1965 National Geographic feature “Mr. Goodall and the Wild Chimpanzees” to Brett Morgen’s 2017 feature “Jane.” Her production company, Jane Goodall Productions, continues to develop projects in the spirit of Dr. Goodall’s work, including the upcoming documentary “Matriarch” from BBC Studios, PBS and WNET Group. Her work as a conservationist continues through the Jane Goodall Institute, which she founded in 1977 to protect chimpanzees.
Dr. Goodall passed away on October 1st at the age of 91. Her film collaborator, Jane Goodall Institute wildlife photographer Bill Wallower, will accept the award on her behalf.

The CW Network has announced the premiere dates for four rerun series: “Wild Cards,” “Scrabble,” “Trivial Pursuit,” and “Police 24/7.”
Wild Cards, starring Vanessa Morgan (Riverdale) and Giacomo Gianniotti (Grey’s Anatomy), will return for a third season on January 26, 2026.
On Thursday nights, “Scrabble” and “Trivial Pursuit” return with new episodes on January 22, 2026. Craig Ferguson (The Late Late Show, Celebrity Name Game) joins Scrabble as the show’s new host, while actor, director, producer and podcaster LeVar Burton (Roots, Star Trek: The Next Generation, Reading Rainbow) returns as host and executive producer of Trivial Pursuit.
New episodes of “Police 24/7” will air on new nights, and the original episode will premiere on January 21, 2026.

ABC News Live will air a 30-minute special featuring Dr. Darian Sutton titled “Gut Check: The Food We Eat” on Nov. 19 at 8:30 p.m.
Dr. Sutton takes viewers on a journey inside the American food system, revealing the short- and long-term effects that ultra-processed foods have on the body. Dr. Sutton will also be working with France’s ABC News correspondent Maggie Lully to compare the ingredient list of the average grocery item in an American store with that of European groceries.
The feature ends with an inside look at Chicago’s major food and science trade show, where ingredient suppliers unveil new innovations to major food companies.
