Shakira and her sons attended the premiere of Zootopia 2 in Los Angeles on Thursday, making a rare appearance together on the red carpet.
The trio made a colorful statement with their lavender coordination. The twins, Milan, 12, and Sasha Pique Mebarak, 10, wore custom purple tuxedos with matching bow ties and bright white sneakers, while their mother, Shakira, wore a high-necked, long-sleeved dress in the same shade, featuring an asymmetrical hemline that fell high on the left leg and revealed a purple satin strappy heel underneath.
Her long hair was pulled into a high ponytail, with two strands surrounding her face.
All three ensembles were designed by Stella McCartney.
The singer is wrapping up his “Las Mujeres Ya No Jolan” tour, which began last February and will end on December 11th.
Shakira doesn’t often attend red carpet events, so it’s especially nice that she not only brought her sons along for the family screening, but also coordinated all of their high-fashion outfits.
Last year, she said it was a mistake to take her sons to see Barbie, saying they “absolutely hated it.”
I wish Zootopia 2 had been a bigger hit.
