Big Brother star Micky Leigh has been photographed preparing to appear on a podcast in what will be her last public photo.
Days before her sudden death at age 35, she posted a photo on Instagram on a carousel to promote her appearance on iHeartRadio’s Hip Hop United LLC podcast.
In each photo uploaded on Dec. 17, the radiant reality star rocked a denim jacket and skirt set, a black tank top, and black knee-high boots.
Lee posed in multiple areas of iHeartRadio’s studio and also gave a behind-the-scenes look at how she makes her TikTok videos.
“Another day outside…this time on @iheartradio on the @hiphopunited_llc podcast 🎧✨,” she captioned the hilarious post.
In an episode released on the same day, the Florida native reflected on her career hopes, New Year’s resolutions and her time in the Big Brother house.
I was also asked the question, “How do you measure (your own) happiness?” At first, I wasn’t sure how to answer.
“I wake up in the morning and thank God every day that I’m here,” she resolved. “I’m glad there’s still one day left.”
However, in a shocking turn of events, Lee passed away on Christmas Day after suffering multiple cardiac arrests.
The next day, her family confirmed her death via Instagram.
“It is with deep sadness that Mickey Lee’s family announces her transition on Christmas evening,” Friday’s statement said.
“Mickey won the hearts of audiences across America through her appearance on ‘Big Brother,’ and her authenticity, strength, and spirit left a lasting impression on fans and fellow cast members alike,” the upload continued.
Lee’s loved ones added: “She will be remembered for the joy she brought into the lives of so many people and the genuine connections she made on and off screen.”
Lee’s family also mourned his “tremendous loss” and asked for “privacy at this important time of bereavement.”
Earlier this week, Lee was hospitalized, with a GoFundMe page saying he had “suffered a series of cardiac arrests” and was in a “serious but stable condition.”
Lee was a cast member on the latest season 27 of the popular CBS competition show, which aired from July to September.
She was voted out by her co-stars during the show’s eighth week.
While she was in the hospital, many Big Brother alumni sent well wishes in the comments on Instagram.
