Zee Studios and Bhansali Productions will release the Bollywood romantic drama ‘Do Deewane Seher Mein’ on February 20, 2026, positioning the film to capitalize on the Valentine’s week moviegoing experience.
The film stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Mrunal Thakur and is being touted by the producers as a modern romance with an old-fashioned sensibility. Ravi Udiawar will direct the project.
Chaturvedi recently appeared in ‘Ko Gaye Hum Kahan’ and ‘Geraiyaan’ and continues to diversify her portfolio beyond her breakthrough role in ‘Gully Boy’. Thakur’s credits include ‘Sita Ramam’, ‘Jersey’ and the Netflix streaming series ‘Lust Stories 2’.
Udhyawar had previously directed the 2017 thriller ‘Mom’, which starred Sridevi in her last film appearance.
Producers describe the story as a return to sincere, heartfelt romance in Hindi cinema, and the music blends modern direction with a melodic sensibility designed to evoke classic romance films.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali is producing the film along with Prerna Singh, Umesh Kumar Bansal and Bharat Kumar Ranga in association with Ravi Udhyawar Films. Bhansali’s recent directorial work includes ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and the Netflix series ‘Heeramandi: Diamond Bazaar’, while his production house has backed titles such as ‘Tuesday and Friday’ and ‘Maral’.
Bhansali’s next spectacle ‘Love and War’ starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal is scheduled to hit theaters on August 14, 2026. Kapoor made his leading role debut in Bhansali’s romance Saavariya (2007), an adaptation of Fyodor Dostoyevsky. Bhatt headlined Bhansali’s women empowerment story ‘Gangubai Kathiawadi’ and took a bow at the Berlin 2022 Games. The two co-starred in Disney’s sci-fi mythological superhero film “Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva” (2022). Meanwhile, Kaushal has delivered the biggest hit of 2025 in Bollywood with the historical blockbuster ‘Chaava’ after ‘Bad News’, ‘Sam Bahadur’ and ‘Danki’.
