Sandra Bullock broke cover for the first time in almost a year while driving in Los Angeles on Wednesday
The 61-year-old actress was photographed driving with her 15-year-old son Louis in the passenger seat and her white dog Sweetie sticking out the window.
The “Miss Congeniality” star has rarely been seen in public since her longtime partner Ryan Randall died from ALS.
The photographer’s family announced his death in a statement in 2023.
“We are sad to announce that Brian Randall passed away peacefully on August 5th after a three-year battle with ALS,” his family told Page Six.
“Brian chose early on to keep his ALS history private, and those of us who cared for him did our best to accommodate his wishes.”
“We are extremely grateful to the tireless doctors who have worked with us through this illness and to the wonderful nurses who have been our roommates, often sacrificing their own families for our family.”
The family asked for “privacy to grieve and come to terms with our inability to say goodbye to Brian.”
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s disease, causes the brain to lose the ability to initiate and control voluntary movements.
Bullock and Randall, who have an adult daughter from a previous relationship, met after she hired him to photograph Louis’ birthday party.
She adopted Louis in 2010, and five years later adopted daughter Laila, now 11.
