“The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City” star Whitney Rose and her husband of more than 16 years, Justin Rose, are “living separate lives,” multiple sources have claimed to Page Six.
Several informants even claimed that the two were completely separated.
“Even when they’re in the same place like the gym, they’re never together,” one source claimed.
Whitney and Justin, who married in November 2009 and have two children together, have each expressed “dissatisfaction” with their trusted loved ones about their marriage, with one source reportedly insisting they “exist” as a couple “for the sake of the kids.”
Whitney, 39, and Justin, 58, are parents to daughter Bobby, 16, and son Brooks, 13, as well as three sons from his first marriage.
“This show is so bad for relationships,” one source claimed, with Whitney admitting in a November 2025 anniversary post that she and Justin have “been through a lot” together but have loved each other “every step of the way.”
However, Justin was noticeably absent from her recent Instagram dump, where he threw her a like.
“This summer, I’m enjoying the simple things that bring me the deepest happiness and joy in life ✨,” Whitney captioned a merry-go-round of 18 slides, going on to list all the people and things that have brought her happiness and joy. “Family time, Bobby and Brooks, sunrises, sunsets, food, golf, friends, mountains, sunshine (and) healing.”
Meanwhile, another source says Whitney was barely at her and Justin’s shared home until filming for Season 7 began in late February. (Production wraps in late May, and new seasons of RHOSLC typically premiere in the fall.)
It is also said that the financial stress the Rose family has been under in recent years is a contributing factor to the alleged breakdown of their marriage.
Justin was fired from his senior management position at LifeVantage Corporation, a direct sales health and wellness company, in March 2022. That was a month after he and Whitney’s infamous Season 2 “Love is Art” scene aired.
During the intimate practice, the pair were caught on camera stripping down to their underwear and covering each other in body paint.
Justin, who is now president of Awakened, another health and wellness direct sales company, said his former bosses explained to him that given his wife’s status as a “public figure,” “things just weren’t going to work out.”
Justin was out of work for a year, and Whitney said the career change had a huge impact on their relationship and family life.
“It was our anniversary. I just asked, ‘Do you still want to do this?’ He was like, ‘Really?’ “I was like, ‘I don’t get it,'” Whitney told co-star Angie Katsanevas (who is currently estranged) in Season 4. Justin wasn’t wearing a wedding ring at the time.
While appearing on Bravo, Whitney has been open about the ups and downs and pressures of being an entrepreneur.
In 2021, she spent hundreds of thousands of dollars rebranding her natural skin care line to Wild Rose Beauty (WRB), a decision Justin felt was financially risky.
Whitney said she wanted to launch WRB in a major retailer, but Justin convinced her to go with a direct-to-consumer business model instead.
Whitney then merged the company with a new legal entity, Sol People, which ultimately resulted in “catastrophic” financial losses of over $500,000.
“I have a failed business, that’s all,” she admitted to her castmates during Season 6, lamenting that she and Justin were “all in” on that venture. “And now we have nothing.”
However, in September 2025, Whitney announced that he had regained full ownership of WRB.
While managing the company through its ups and downs, she launched Prism, “a fine jewelry line that emphasizes spirituality and healing.”
As fans know, Whitney’s “healing” journey from unspecified trauma, including allegations of childhood abuse, has been chronicled throughout the series’ run.
She was forced to defend Prism during season 5 after rumors spread that she was allegedly buying cheap jewelry from Alibaba and reselling it at a huge markup.
She repeatedly denied the allegations, but said the allegations had hurt her business.
As for her relationship with Justin, which apparently began before the end of her previous marriage and resulted in both of them being “excommunicated from the Mormon church,” Whitney has previously denied rumors of divorce.
In January 2025, she told Andy Cohen on Watch What Happens Live that rumors of a breakup have been “going around for five years” and insisted that Justin, who was sitting in the audience, “isn’t going anywhere.”
Representatives for the couple and Bravo did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
