“The Real Housewives of New York City” star Cy de Silva thanked her fans after her husband David Craig filed for divorce.
“Thank you so much for the kindness, grace, and support that so many of you have shown me,” the reality star wrote on her Instagram Story on Saturday.
“I am overwhelmed by your messages and they mean more than you could ever know. My heart is with the children and my focus is on providing them with all the stability and love I can.”
De Silva, 45, spoke out after Craig ended their nine-year marriage on Thursday, according to documents obtained by Page Six.
The ex-lovers’ breakup will be depicted in season 16 of RHONY, which is currently filming.
TV personality Craig is a parent to 14-year-old daughter London and eight-year-old son Rio.
The former couple met during a trip to Costa Rica in 2009 and married in June 2017.
Craig has particularly avoided the public eye, despite his estranged wife being an influencer and a housewife since 2022.
“He likes his privacy,” de Silva shared in a 2023 Bravo blog post. “In a world where we share everything, it’s nice to have something private in my life.”
The Bravo star said Craig was “very passionate about family” and said he should be named Father of the Year.
De Silva also previously called her now estranged husband a “perfect man,” but quipped that he was a “terrible husband on Instagram.”
“But other than that we are thick as thieves,” she once wrote.
De Silva’s Instagram doesn’t feature Craig, and she has tried to hide her face in the past.
“This isn’t his world, and I don’t think people realize that he doesn’t use social media at all, he doesn’t even have a Facebook[page],” she once said, according to Us Weekly.
The reason for the duo’s breakup has not yet been revealed.
