The mystery of the missing photo deepens.
Sources tell Page Six that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s representatives have asked Kris Jenner and Kim Kardashian to delete Instagram photos of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex at the reality star’s lavish 70th birthday party.
A source said, “They probably don’t want to anger the royal family, who are trying to reconcile.”
Sources told Page Six in October that Markle has been quietly supporting Prince Harry’s efforts to repair his relationship with his family, especially his father, King Charles III.
“They need a (royal) family,” the source said, adding: “Meghan knows that.”
I also heard that the photo was removed out of respect for the UK’s Remembrance Day, which honors fallen soldiers. Harry wore a red poppy to mark the occasion.
Still, a source previously told Page Six that palace insiders were not happy about the Sussexes’ glamorous night out, calling it “too tacky.”
“This really shows how far Prince Harry is from the rest of his family. These guys may be American stars, but pure flamboyance is at odds with what Prince William is trying to do with his life and the monarchy,” the source said.
The royal couple likely knew they would be photographed outside the megawatt bash, but they may not have known that photos from inside would be shared.
An invitation to the party posted on Cassandra Gray’s Substack reads, “Please note that to ensure all guests enjoy the evening and maintain everyone’s privacy, phone use is prohibited during the event. You will be checked in by phone upon arrival.”
Prince Harry and Markle weren’t the only high-profile attendees at the 007-themed gala at Jeff Bezos’ $165 million mansion in Beverly Hills.
Beyoncé and Jay-Z, Mark Zuckerberg, Oprah Winfrey, Chris Rock, Mariah Carey, Adele, Rich Paul, Tyler Perry, Snoop Dogg, Paris Hilton, Kathy Hilton, and Vin Diesel all attended the festival where Bruno Mars performed.
The party was hosted by Kris’ six children: Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, Khloe Kardashian, Rob Kardashian, Kylie Jenner and Kendall Jenner.
