Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s children have been reunited with their grandfather King Charles for the first time in four years.
Buckingham Palace confirmed on Friday that Prince Charles and Queen Camilla welcomed Prince Harry, Markle and their two children – Prince Archie, 7, and Princess Lilibet, 5, to Highgrove House.
Photos of the reunion at the King’s private residence in Gloucestershire, England, will not be released.
Charles, 77, was last reunited with his grandchildren in 2022 when they attended Queen Elizabeth II’s Platinum Jubilee.
The family will return to the UK amid uncertainty over whether Markle and her children will make the trip across the pond amid safety concerns.
In June, Page Six reported that the entire family, who live in Montecito, California, planned to cross the pond to be reunited with Charles.
However, these plans were scrapped by July after taxpayer security was denied.
“Their plans to meet family and friends and visit various charities close to the Duke’s heart were scrapped at the eleventh hour,” a source told the Guardian at the time.
A source said the Duke of Sussex, 41, was “considering all options to get Markle, 44, and their children safely to the UK and to keep them safe while on the ground.”
After deciding the best course of action, Prince Harry traveled to the UK alone earlier this week to promote various charities.
He also began the one-year countdown to the 2027 Invictus Games in Birmingham.
But by Thursday, Page Six confirmed that the “Suits” alum and her children were indeed able to cross the pond.
They have not appeared in public as a family, but sources said they hope to visit Princess Diana’s burial site on the Althorp Estate in Northamptonshire, England.
The author of “The Spare” lost his security privileges after he and his wife stepped down from royal duties in 2020.
