Ozzy Osbourne’s grandson is already following in his footsteps.
Rocker’s daughter Kelly Osbourne shared a video on TikTok of her 2-year-old son Sydney wearing a skeleton long-sleeve shirt and matching pants. Sidney, wearing red cowboy boots, is holding a stuffed animal bat and biting its head.
He ripped it off, dropped his head and laughed. “I learned from my great dad!” Kelly captioned the video, referencing the controversial moment her father ripped off the head of a live bat on stage during a 1982 concert. Ozzy’s famous song “Crazy Train” is playing in the background of the video.

Nearly three years before his family announced his death at the age of 76 on July 22, the Black Sabbath rocker reflected on the bat incident in an interview with PEOPLE.
“When we finally leave this place, it’s going to be, ‘Oh, the guy who bit off Bat’s head, joined Bat today,'” Ozzy told PEOPLE.
“I mean, I’ve accomplished quite a lot in my life, but people just say, ‘Ozzy, what does a bat actually taste like? Is it dead?'” But let me tell you, I wasn’t laughing when I got the rabies shot. ”
Ozzie had a close relationship with his grandson Sidney. In May, Kelly spoke to PEOPLE and revealed that her son is “best friends” with the rock legend.
“Oh my god, they’re best friends,” Kelly said of her son and father. “So my favorite time of the day is at night because[Sydney]leaves me and goes to bed with her mom and dad. I’m staying at their house right now while they get the house ready.”
“And he goes and goes to bed with them and they have comic time together. It’s the sweetest thing ever. I literally have to tear him apart,” she continued.
Last October, Ozzy was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a solo artist in the Class of 2024. Kelly and his son supported his father at the event.
In one sweet snap, the mother-son duo was seen smiling together at an event. Kelly rocked a black lace long-sleeved top, while the toddler appeared in a little black suit and bow tie.
Kelly’s younger brother Jack also shared an adorable family snap on his Instagram following his father’s appointment. In the elevator photo, the brothers were seen posing with their young children. Kelly held Sydney in her arms, while Jack’s daughters Pearl, 12, and Andy, 9, smiled arm in arm in front of their father.
“Crew @Rockhall,” he captioned the post.
