Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban are separated, Variety confirms. The couple has been married for 19 years.
Kidman, 58, and Urban, 57, first met in 2005 at G’day USA Gala in Los Angeles. The couple revealed their engagement about a year later, before they got married in Sydney in June 2006. their two daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, are 17 and 14, respectively.
In the first months of her marriage, Kidman intervened to help her husband stand up to the struggle against alcohol abuse, urban to enter rehabilitation. In interviews since then, Urban believes Kidman is essential for his rehabilitation.
The couple has been a regular fixture on the red carpet for the past 20 years, including appearances at Met Gala, the Academy Awards and the Academy of Country Music Awards. In April 2024, Kidman won the AFI Life Achievement Award at the Hollywood Gala, where Urban gave a speech on stage.
