Millie Bobby Brown shared a rare glimpse of her baby daughter in a family photo with husband Jake Bongiovi.
The actress posted a snap on Instagram on Thursday on a merry-go-round, documenting her “early October” and included a sweet photo in the fourth slide.
In the photo, Brown, 21, was seen holding her daughter while Bon Jovi, 23, was seen hugging their daughters. The girl was wearing a red plaid Minnie Mouse costume, and her face was blurred out.
Brown’s post included several selfies, photos of PDA between her and her husband, and a video of them performing karaoke to The Killers’ “Mr. Brightside.”
The “Enola Holmes” star and model have kept her daughter out of the spotlight since welcoming her into the family in August, but Brown first shared a photo of her daughter last month. It was a snap of Bon Jovi en route to his private jet with his daughter in a car seat.
The young couple announced in a joint statement on August 21 that they had adopted a baby girl.
“This summer we welcomed a beautiful baby girl through adoption,” their statement reads. “We are so excited to embark on the next chapter of this beautiful parent-child relationship in both peace and privacy.”
They ended their message with, “And now three of us are born: Love, Millie, and Jake Bongiovi.”
The couple have not yet revealed their daughter’s name, but Brown may have dropped some hints during her first public outing with her daughter.
Photos of the couple out and about in East Hampton showed her clutching a pink phone case with the letters “R,” “W,” and “B” written in red on the bottom of the case.
“B” becomes the daughter’s last initial, as her and her husband’s last names both begin with that letter.
Although many fans were shocked by the announcement, the “Stranger Things” star has been very open about her desire to become a young mother in the past.
“This was my obsession even before I met Jake,” she revealed on her podcast “Smartless” in March.
“My mom actually had her first child when she was 21 and my dad was 19,” she said of her mom, Kelly Brown, and dad, Robert Brown.
“I wanted to be a mother like my mother was to me,” Brown added, explaining that Bon Jovi knew “how important” starting a family was to her.
She and Bon Jovi talked about it and Bon Jovi told her that they could not have children together until they were married.
“That was his job,” the Emmy nominee explained. “And what I mean is, I really want a family. I really want a big family. I’m one of four. He’s one of four, too. So it’s definitely in our future.”
The two secretly married in May 2024 after dating for about three years, and had their second luxurious date in Italy in October of the following year.
During an interview in March, she also hinted at the possibility of adopting a child with Bon Jovi.
“For me, having a child of my own is really no different than adopting a child,” she said, explaining that “the home is filled with love for everyone and everything.”
“And Jake and I stand behind that,” the “Damsel” star added. “The energy of our house is that the door is always open.”
The rocker’s father, Jon Bon Jovi, also gushed in an interview with Bunny XO last month about how “amazing” their decision was and how it felt to become a grandfather for the first time.
“It’s beautiful. I want to see pictures every other day,” the singer said. “I’m already a pain in the ass guy, and yeah, that’s cool.”
