Mick Jagger’s fiancee Melanie Hamrick has claimed she was “physically attacked” at a London social club.
“It’s incredibly difficult for me to share this, but I was physically attacked tonight at Annabelle’s Mayfair,” the choreographer wrote in an Instagram post that has since been deleted.
“I’m so grateful to my friends who protected me. Two people grabbed me from behind. I thank God for the good people who intervened to help me,” Hamrick, 38, added.
“I am upset, sad and heartbroken that people treat each other this way.”
Page Six reached out to Hamrick and Annabel for comment, but did not immediately receive a response.
Hamrick and Jagger, 82, met in February 2014 while attending a Rolling Stones concert with other American Ballet Theater dancers.
That summer, they officially began dating, despite a 44-year age difference.
After two years of dating, the couple welcomed the ‘Paint It Black’ hitmaker’s eighth son, son Deveraux Octavian Basile, in 2016.
Last year, Hamrick officially confirmed that she had been engaged to Jagger for about three years, but she was in no rush to walk down the aisle.
“One day we may get married, or we may not. We are so happy with our lives now that we are too scared to change anything,” she told Paris Match in April 2025.
Hamrick’s alleged attack comes just days after Jagger’s granddaughter Ashish Jackson’s longtime partner, Alexander Key, was believed to be dead.
After being reported missing on January 24, her body was found in the sea off Bude, England. He was 37 years old.
Police said his death was “not being treated as suspicious” and that an autopsy would be performed.
