Michelle Obama and Barack Obama snuggled up for a cozy Christmas snap on Thursday.
“Merry Christmas!” Michelle wrote via Instagram. “Barack and I wish you a blessed holiday and a joyous start to the new year.”
In the photo uploaded to social media, the couple can be seen standing arm in arm in front of trees surrounded by twinkling lights.
Barack, 64, wore an all-black outfit with a tan jacket, while Michelle, 61, showed off some skin in a lace black dress.
Their two adult children, Malia, 27, and Sasha, 24, do not appear in the post.
The pair’s A-list followers, including One Tree Hill alum Sophia Bush, gushed over how “amazing” Michelle looked in the daring ensemble.
Andy Cohen commented: “I’m going to miss you.”
Barack also shared the same holiday snap to his Story, writing: “Merry Christmas! Michelle and I hope you have a wonderful holiday filled with light and joy.”
The former president and Michelle similarly posted a smiling shot of themselves on Thanksgiving last month, which included their daughters.
“In this season of giving, let’s do what we can to give back to the community that has given so much to us,” they captioned a joint post in November. “From our family to yours, we wish you a wonderful Thanksgiving.”
Michelle and Barack have been married since 1992 and are still going strong despite widespread divorce speculation earlier this year.
The couple directly addressed the rumors on Michelle’s IMO podcast in June.
The politician poked fun at the headline, joking: “She brought me back! It was touch and go for a while.”
Michelle denied any marital struggles during the episode, declaring, “There was never a moment in our marriage where I thought about leaving my husband.”
“We’ve had some really tough times, but we’ve also had a lot of good times, a lot of adventures, and the man I married has made me a better person,” the former first lady continued at the time.
