Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have returned to American soil.
Just days after making her Paris Fashion Week debut at the Balenciaga show, the Duchess of Sussex attended the Project Healthy Minds Gala in New York City with her prince, sporting yet another minimalist look. He wore an all-black Armani suit with a plunging blazer and matching slacks.
She wore her hair in a ponytail and accessorized with a heavy gold chain necklace and stud earrings. She also carried a small black clutch as she held hands with Prince Harry on the black carpet at the event.
Prince Harry also wore a black suit, layered with a white button-down shirt and black tie.
The royal couple will be presented with the Humanitarian Award in recognition of the work they do through the Archewell Foundation to make the digital world safer for young people and their families.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry released a statement about the award last month ahead of their scheduled appearance, saying: “As parents, we too are moved by the power of their stories to take action and we are honored to support them.”
“We are proud to be a long-time partner of Project Healthy Minds as we work together to shine a light on one of the most pressing issues of our time,” the statement continued.
Markle was most recently in Paris, but this week marks the second big event for the prince in New York City.
On Wednesday, Prince Harry made a surprise appearance at an event hosted by the Australian American Association’s Movember Men’s Health Institute.
In his speech, he acknowledged that access to the therapy he and the duchess are passionate about remains inadequate, particularly in the United States.
Of course, fans of the exiled royal couple are excited to get a glimpse into their private lives. But it’s their public appearances (in exceptional style, of course) that truly make an impact.
After all, what aspiring princess doesn’t love getting dressed up for a ball? Especially if it’s for a good cause.
