Meghan Markle and Prince Harry dropped a big clue about Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet’s future.
The couple made memorable mentions of their son, 6, and daughter, 4, in their impact report last month.
“After five incredible years, the Archewell Foundation will become Archewell Charities,” they said in a December 2025 statement. “Thanks to this charity, the couple and their children will be able to grow their global philanthropic efforts as a family.”
According to the Daily Mail, the participation of Markle and Prince Harry’s children subtly hints that they will follow in their parents’ footsteps, leaving one of the Duke of Sussex’s friends “really confused.”
“Prince Harry and Duchess Meghan have always been very vocal about wanting their children to live their own lives without the pressure of expectations or titles, and it’s hard to believe that Prince Harry is behind that,” the source said.
A source surmised that this career move “must be influenced by Duchess Meghan.”
Representatives for Markle and Prince Harry did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
On the same day the statement was released, Markle posted a family photo on Instagram with the caption: “Happy Holidays! From our family to yours.”
The outdoor snap gave a glimpse of Archie and Lilibet, who also appeared in the 2025 roundup video.
Markle, 44, reactivated her Instagram account on New Year’s Day last year, and Archie and Lilibet have been appearing more frequently in recent months.
Page Six reported in November that Prince Harry, 41, “doesn’t love” his wife’s “social media displays.”
The former military pilot is said to be “very aware” of Ms Markle’s “parading” around her family.
Archie and Lilibet, in particular, did not appear on Markle’s show, “With Love, Meghan,” like their father did, but they appeared repeatedly in the conversation.
Markle and Prince Harry left the UK during the birth of their child, officially retiring from royal duties in 2021 and moving to Montecito, California.
Since then, the couple has embarked on multiple ventures, partnering with Netflix and Spotify over the years, with mixed results.
Last year, the pair “reduced their staff by at least 80 to 85 percent,” a source recently revealed.
In the last month alone, the pair have lost their 11th spokesperson and Archewell’s head of philanthropy, and we hear the entire brand is in jeopardy.
