Media One Group, Seesaw Film and Drama Republic, the prosperous European studio behind Plan B, is moving its distribution business to London with the appointment of former All3media International Exec Sally Habbershaw.
Habbershaw, who had recently moved to London from New York and worked as Americas sales chief at All3Media International, tapped Mediawan’s chief distribution officer.
The move to the UK demonstrates Media One’s global ambitions and international expansion. Led by Chairman and Co-Founder Pierre Antoine Kapton, the company is comprised of more than 80 companies in 14 countries. In addition to Brad Pitt’s Plan B Entertainment, it recently expanded its footprint in Europe with an office in London and planted Ed McDonald, the esteemed British producer of “Baby Reindeer.” Good Mood (Spain), Submarine (Netherlands/USA), Chapter 2, Chi-Fou-Mi (France).
Under the newly created role, Habbershaw will accelerate Media One’s plans to build a content slate of premium English-speaking content and attack international partnerships, with Plan B racing drama ‘F1: The High High Grossing It has been riding a wave of success from “Apple’s highest grossing movies” such as “See-see” (Apple’s highest grossing movie to date) and the multi-Emmy award-winning series “Mis-Saw” and “See-sea”. Media One Rights’ longtime CEO Valérie Vleeschhouwer will work alongside Habbershaw during a transition period ahead of his departure from the company under the relaunch of Banner’s distribution division. Vleeschhouwer had a 20-year tenure as deputy managing director of AB Group, which became part of Mediawan in 2017. Since then, she has been instrumental in the integration of Lagardère Studios’ distribution activities in 2020 and Leonine Studios in 2024.

Habbershaw has a robust track record with All3media International. During her years with the company, she starred in roles such as “Ocean” with David Attenborough, “Tourists” with Two Brothers Tentpoles (HBO/Netflix), “Liar” (AMC) and “Back to Life” (Showtime/Paramount), new pictures “Long Shadow” (AMC), The Forge’s National Trease’), Hulu Greages’ (hulus’), Playsgrounds’), Forgen It snowed in “It’s a Sin” (HBO Max) and “Joan” (CW). She also oversaw significant forms of territorial dealing, including Traitors in Latin America (NBC) and Canada (Bell Media), and Doc Martin (Fox).
