Michelle Huisman has joined the cast of season 3 of AMC’s Mayfair Witches, Variety exclusively reports.
Houseman joins recently announced cast member Betsy Brandt, as well as returning stars Alexandra Daddario, Harry Hamlin, Tongai Chilisa and Alyssa Gilels.
Huisman plays Michael. Sources say the man is a carpenter who built an inn that he runs. He’s hiding a dark secret, but when he falls in love with Rowan Mayfair (Daddario), the life he’s carefully built begins to unravel.
Huisman is best known for his role as Daario Naharis on HBO’s hit series Game of Thrones, appearing on the show for three seasons. His recent television credits include “Echo 3,” “Angela Black,” “The Flight Attendant,” “The Haunting of Hill House,” and he will also appear in the upcoming Netflix series “The Abandons,” directed by Kurt Sutter. His film credits include Netflix’s “Rebel Moon,” as well as both “The Other Lamb,” “The Last Right” and “The Age of Adaline.”
He is repped by UTA, Authentic Talent and Literary Management, Conway van Gelder Grant, Peikoff/Mahan, and Relevant.
“Mayfair Witches” was renewed for a third season during AMC’s pre-advertiser presentation in April. Production is currently underway in Vancouver. According to the official description, “The third season of the series delves deeper into witch mythology, introduces a new ‘enchanted’ family, and features some of the historical events of Salem, Massachusetts, a town notorious for witch trials and folklore.”
Season 3 will be executive produced by Mark Johnson, who also directed AMC Networks’ Anne Rice Immortal Universe. Co-showrunners Esta Spalding and Thomas Schnauz will serve as executive producers along with Michelle Ashford and Tom Williams.
