On Sunday, Landman star Ali Larter wore a plum corset Zuhair Murad dress with a sweetheart neckline and draping to the 2026 Actor Awards in Los Angeles. Larter’s sultry, bombshell look was a nod to Elle’s first red carpet theme: “Reimagining 20s and 30s Hollywood glamor.”
Landman was nominated this year for Best Ensemble in a Drama Series. Joining Larter on the big night were co-stars Demi Moore, Sam Elliott and Michelle Randolph, who were also seen arriving. Larter plays Angela Norris, the wife of Tommy Norris, played by Billy Bob Thornton, in the Taylor Sheridan-produced Paramount+ series. In a January 2025 interview with Elle, Larter reflected on the character that has become a fan favorite.
“She’s an absolute bastard,” Larter said of Angela. “When you see her go to bars, she wants attention. She’s fun-loving. That’s not a dirty word to her. And you can tell Tommy really loves her for who she is.”
“She thinks her job is to go to the gym and look cool, but you’re also looking at the reverse engineering of a trophy wife, someone who’s been through it all and came back to where they’re supposed to be,” she continued.
Larter praises Sheridan’s approach to writing female characters on her shows, including Yellowstone and its numerous spin-offs.
“I want to show all sides of women and how they feel about their bodies and their sexuality,” Larter added. “So it was really important for me to find that and accept that. And I’m very different from who I am in everyday life. But I know that women like[Angela]and I wish I was more like her in my early 20s.”
