The singing voice of Huntr/X, a fictional group of girls from the animated Netflix film “Kpop Demon Hunters,” set the first televised look and live performance.
“Tonight’s Show with Jimmy Fallon” will perform the “KPOP Demon Hunters” song “Golden” on October 7th, featuring Ejee, Audrey Nuna and Leiami. The singer will also sit with Fallon for an interview.
Ehae, Nuna and Reiami sing about the roles of Rumi, Mira and Zoe, respectively. (The character’s spoken line is voiced by Ardencho, Mae Hong and Ji Yong Yu.) “Kpop Demon Hunters” debuted on Netflix on June 20th and quickly lost popularity. By early August, it debuted at No. 4 on Netflix’s list of most popular movies of all time, and was at the top of that list by the end of the month. The film has surpassed 325 million views, and has continued into Netflix’s top 10 for 14 weeks, and recently charted its second title of the week. The success of the massive streaming has led Netflix to release a singing version of “KPOP Demon Hunters” in theaters for two days in August, winning $18 million at the box office.
The music for “Kpop Demon Hunters” was equally huge, debuting on the Billboard 200 soundtrack chart, leaving behind the 2025 bestselling soundtrack. At the Billboard Global 200, Golden was number one in 10 weeks.
Jennifer Lopez also appears in the October 7 episode of “The Tonight Show.”
“The Tonight Show” is produced by Universal Television and Broadway Video and is executive produced by Lorne Michaels. Chris Miller will be the showrunner and will produce alongside Gerald Bradford.
