Khloe Kardashian isn’t buying that idea.
The Good American co-founder, 41, is drawing a hard line when it comes to her sister Kim Kardashian’s latest Skims creation, a controversial “ultimate bush” thong adorned with fake pubic hair.
“Mirkin, we gotta kill it,” the reality star told Elle magazine during a game of beauty and health-themed “Fk, Marry, Kill,” in an interview published Wednesday. “I’m against that. I love Kim, but I can’t stand it.”
The $32 thong features hand-tufted synthetic pubic hair in 12 different colors and textures. It was released in mid-October and sold out immediately.
“[It’s]too much for me,” Kardashian continued. “What was all that lasering over the years? Crazy, right?”
Her sister’s $4 billion brand launched the provocative product with a retro game show-inspired campaign called “Does the carpet match the curtains?”
Kim recently revealed that her “All’s Fair” co-star Sarah Paulson is a fan of Mirkin. “Oh, you know what? They are! Sarah would be proud to talk about it! Of course,” the Skims mogul told Capital FM with a laugh during the UK premiere.
Chloe spoke with Elle ahead of the launch of her new fragrance, Almost Always, which will be available online at Ulta Beauty on November 5th and in stores on November 9th.
The mother of two, who shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3, with ex Tristan Thompson, had mixed feelings about other high-profile Skims products during the match.
Although she has some concerns about attracting attention, she said she plans to go all out with the brand’s popular push-up bras with “raised nipples.”
“I love nipple bras, but when I wear them I’m like, ‘Why is everyone staring at me?’ Well, because my nipples are out,” she said.
As for the Seamless Sculpt Face Wrap ($48), who Kardashian modeled alongside Kim and Lala Anthony on a flight to South Korea in August, she “only cares about the face.”
Despite her outspoken criticism, Kardashian remains a supportive sister. She co-ordinated outfits with Kim and her mother Kris Jenner at the NikeSkims NYC launch event in September.
