Savannah Guthrie’s apology continues.
Khloe Kardashian has responded to her 2012 reality TV show co-host expressing regret for asking her a “weird question” about her father.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum, 41, highlighted Guthrie’s regrets in an Instagram post on Tuesday.
“She’s a doll!” Hulu’s personality shines through. “It takes a great person to take charge and I just love her! ❤️❤️❤️ 👑👑👑👑”
Representatives for Guthrie have not yet responded to Page Six’s request for comment.
The journalist opened up about interviewing the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star on Monday’s episode of the NBC morning show in 2012.
“I asked Khloe Kardashian 10 seconds before discussing the rumors that her father (Robert Kardashian) was not her father,” the former lawyer recalled.
Guthrie admitted that she waited until the last minute to bring up speculation that O.J. Simpson was Chloe’s father because she felt “embarrassed.”
She praised the Good American co-creator for her “class act” response.
Khloe clarified at the time that she had “nothing to do with” the headline.
In February, Guthrie said on “Radio Andy” that “the producers…really wanted her to ask this question” so she “did what a naive, green anchor would do.”
Five years after the awkward moment, Khloe has clapped back at the online chatter, tweeting that the trolls spreading the rumors were “shit” and “so gross”.
Simpson addressed this speculation on a 2022 “Full Send” podcast episode.
“That rumor is not true,” the former NFL player told listeners at the time. “That’s far from the truth.”
Simpson was infamously acquitted in 1995 of murdering his wife Nicole Brown Simpson and her friend Ron Goldman, and Robert represented him in court.
Robert was married to Kris Jenner at the time. Before the lawyer passed away in 2003, she gave birth to Khloe, Kim Kardashian, Kourtney Kardashian, and Rob Kardashian.
The 69-year-old talent manager was married to Caitlyn Jenner and had Kendall Jenner and Kylie Jenner together.
OJ served time in prison for armed robbery from 2008 to 2017, but lost his battle with prostate cancer last year.
Chloe did not publicly react to his death in April 2024.
