Khloe Kardashian isn’t closing the door on the birth of her next baby.
The reality star explained to listeners of her “Chloe in Wonderland” podcast on Wednesday that she is “considering” welcoming a third child “on her own.”
The Good American co-creator, 41, likely has “a few more embryos in the freezer” from her ex Tristan Thompson, with whom she shares daughter True, 7, and son Tatum, 3.
“I don’t think I have the energy to have another baby, but I think girls need sisters,” she said. “That’s how I was raised.
“Tatum’s going to be fine,” the “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star joked about his son. “But every girl needs a little sister. Maybe that’s what my experience was (with Kourtney Kardashian, Kim Kardashian, Kendall Jenner, Kylie Jenner).”
She hedged, “I don’t know if I can emotionally handle this situation. I was just thinking. I was just thinking.”
The Hulu personality joked that True “knows she has a sister in the freezer,” adding that she wanted a “different experience.”
Notably, Khloe found out about Thompson’s infidelity just days before giving birth to True. And when the NBA player, 34, confirmed that he had fathered a son, Theo, with a woman named Maralee Nichols, the on-again, off-again couple’s surrogate was pregnant with Tatum.
“In contrast to all the trauma surrounding Tatum’s surrogacy experience, I am going to accompany him on that journey,” the Keeping Up With the Kardashians alum explained.
“Transplanting an embryo doesn’t guarantee that it will grow, so I decided to give it a try. If it doesn’t work, that means God doesn’t want me to have another baby, and that’s okay,” she concluded.
But Khloe told podcast listeners last month that she “wants to get married and have more kids.”
The “Dash Dolls” alum said in February that she hopes True would have a sister, but that the little one is “close” to her cousins as well.
Elsewhere on Wednesday’s episode, Khloe spoke at length with Thompson about the “hardest part” of co-parenting True and Tatum.
“I think (the children) are mine,” she said. “I’m like, ‘Maybe someone needs to do this and get permission?'” Of course that’s the right thing to do, and of course my kids have a father, but I’m a mother. I would never do anything to hurt children. …Tristan trusts me, but it’s still a struggle sometimes. ”
The businesswoman also revealed that she struggled to name Tatum for nine months after giving birth, and that Thompson wanted her to have a “crazy” nickname inspired by Game of Thrones.
“Tristan wanted to name her Khaleesi, but we knew we weren’t going to name her Khaleesi,” Khloe recalled. “That wasn’t supposed to happen.”
