Kevin Federline claimed his sons with Britney Spears were worried enough about their famous mother that he never saw her again.
“[Britney]met one of my sons one day this year and after what she saw, she decided not to go back there,” Federline told Piers Morgan on Thursday’s episode of Uncensored, referring to her son Sean Preston, 20.
“The other Jaden is my younger son, who is now 19 years old. He has been there many times over the past year, but because of this situation, he has stopped seeing her in recent months,” he added.
Ms Federline claimed her sons were “scared” and “worried about their mother” and said: “I don’t know how to help given the toll it has taken.”
When asked why Spears’ sons “didn’t want to be around her” and what they saw, Federline replied, “That’s not my story to tell.”
“This is a story I want my sons to tell when they make up their minds. I mean, what they saw is shocking, right?” the former backup dancer insisted.
“I was so shocked that one of my sons called me and said, ‘I don’t know what to do. I’m afraid my mother is going to die.’
Spears did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment.
Ms. Federline, 47, published her memoir “You Thought You Knew” on Tuesday. In the days leading up to the book’s publication, Spears’ ex-husband released excerpts from the book alleging a series of alleged cheating acts.
Federline claimed in her book that Spears took cocaine while breastfeeding, punched Preston in the face and once wished her sons dead.
Federline also claimed that Spears, 43, watched her sons sleep “with a knife in hand.”
He also detailed her “weird” behavior before she became famous for shaving her head in 2007, claimed she cheated on him with a female backup dancer, and spoke about the “last straw” moment that led to the collapse of their marriage, which lasted from 2004 to 2007.
Spears’ representatives previously dismissed the sordid memoir as a cash grab.
“The news from Kevin’s book has once again allowed Kevin and others to profit from her,” a rep told Page Six in a statement earlier this month.
They added, “Sadly, this is after the child support agreement with Kevin ends.”
The “Toxic” hitmaker has posted accusations against her ex-husband on social media multiple times.
“The constant gaslighting from my ex-husband is extremely hurtful and exhausting,” she wrote via X on Oct. 15. “I was always begging and screaming to continue living with my sons.”
She also seemed to admit that her sons had stopped visiting, writing that “one son” had seen her “for 45 minutes in the past year” and the other only “four times” in the “past five years.”
The next day, October 16, she spoke again to X, accusing Federline of “attacking” her in the memoir.
“Why is he so angry…and the scary thing is that he’s vindictive,” she added. “I literally freaked out when he stopped before he started crying. Are you serious?”
It seems the continued pressure is having an effect on the legendary songstress. In footage obtained by the Daily Mail, she was recently seen driving erratically during a night out with a mysterious friend.
