Justin Baldoni is back in court.
The actor arrived at the New York City Federal District Court in Manhattan with his wife Emily Baldoni on Thursday, a day after his court-ordered “unsuccessful” settlement with Blake Lively.
Notably, the “Gossip Girl” alum was not present in court as she had been the day before.
As for Justin, the 42-year-old walked in wearing a brown shirt and gray coat with a big smile on his face.
The “Jane the Virgin” alum is in court in a lawsuit against former publicist Stephanie Jones, who filed a countersuit in March 2025 after Stephanie Jones filed the lawsuit the previous December.
Emily, 41, grinned next to her husband in a brown coat and scarf ahead of the session.
The couple similarly put up a united front on Wednesday, entering the courthouse hand in hand and leaving the same way.
At the time, he and Lively happened to be awkwardly coordinating in olive green and pale pink ensembles.
The settlement was the last chance for the It Ends With Us co-stars to avoid a lawsuit over Lively’s sexual harassment allegations, which Justin denies.
The controversial legal battle is expected to conclude on May 18, 2026.
Justin’s attorney Brian Friedman told Deadline that “there’s always a chance” a settlement could be reached in the meantime.
However, the lawyer clarified that he was “not aware that[they]would resume” settlement negotiations.
Lively sued Justin in January 2025 for $161 million in damages after filing a complaint against him the previous month.
The former podcast Man Enough countersued for $400 million later that month, but the suit was later dismissed.
As for Justin’s legal battle with Stephanie Jones, in December 2024 he sued Justin, his movie studio, and his Crisis PR team for breach of contract.
In response, Justine sued Jones Works’ public relations director for breach of contract and breach of the implied covenant of good faith and fair dealing.
