Julia Roberts’ fraternal twins have celebrated a milestone birthday.
Finneus and Hazel celebrated their 21st birthday on Friday, and the Oscar-winning actress commemorated their special day by sharing a throwback photo on Instagram.
The adorable tribute showed the toddler’s siblings sitting in high chairs enjoying what appeared to be a much earlier birthday celebration. Hazel was seen smiling brightly at the camera, while Phineus was staring at her with a cute and quizzical expression.
“These game changers, life changers, (heart) expanders, there used to be one, now there’s 21! That was fast,” Roberts, 58, captioned the shot. “Happy birthday, dear ones.”
The comments section was abuzz with well-wishes for the twins, including one from actress Ali Wentworth: “Happy Birthday!”
Roberts shares twins with her husband, Danny Moder. She and the cinematographer, 56, have been married since 2002 and are parents to son Henry, who turned 18 in June.
Roberts doesn’t often share photos of her children, but fans were shown a rare photo of her posing with all three of her children as part of a Mother’s Day tribute from Modder earlier this year.
“Moms make the coolest things. I love these people,” Moder captioned an Instagram snap of his wife and children smiling for the camera.
Last month, Roberts appeared on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” and talked about how her family relationships have changed now that her children are all grown up and have officially left home.
She joked that she “sobbed” on air about the topic, but said they are all still close.
“I love playing with them and spending time with them,” Roberts said. “Fortunately, we received a lot of visits along the way to this empty nest.”
Back in 2022, the Pretty Woman star opened up about how much parenting meant to her.
“When I’m not working,[being a housewife]is my full-time job,” she explained in a sit-down interview with CBS at the time.
“Rainbows and kittens don’t appear every day, but it brings me so much joy.”
