John Travolta is all about his bold choices in hats.
The 72-year-old actor wore a different beret at the photocall for his new film Propeller Night Bus at the Cannes Film Festival on Saturday.
Travolta looked great in an all-black outfit with a black beret. Travolta happily posed for photographers with his arms outstretched, wearing a velvet button-down shirt, slim-fit pants and boots.
The “Grease” star wore wire-rimmed glasses and had a dyed beard, looking noticeably different than what fans are used to seeing.
Travolta turned heads with a new look at the Cannes Film Festival on Friday, sporting a slouchy cream wool beret and suit at the premiere of his directorial debut.
He walked the red carpet and posed for photos with his 26-year-old daughter Ella, who co-stars in the movie. Ella also turned heads with her gorgeous black dress and diamonds.
According to Variety, “Propeller One-Way Night Bus” follows Jeff, an airplane enthusiast, and his mother on a one-way cross-country trip to Hollywood.
Ella plays a flight attendant in the movie.
Travolta posted on his Instagram on Friday about being awarded the prestigious Cannes Palme d’Or, the equivalent of a lifetime achievement award.
“I couldn’t be more honored to receive this award!” he wrote. “For me, the Cannes Palme d’Or has always represented the best of art. This is more than a humbling experience.”
Travolta definitely has a thing for rocking berets these days.
In an Instagram video Ella posted on Friday while on a flight to Cannes, she wore an all-blue outfit, including a matching blue beret.
Travolta shared Ella with his late wife Kelly Preston, who died of breast cancer in 2020 at the age of 57.
The couple also welcomed two sons, Ben, 15, and Jett, who died in January 2009 at the age of 16 after suffering a seizure during a family trip to the Bahamas.
Last month, the A-list actor proudly shared a photo of his resemblance daughter looking glamorous in a chic black bloomin dress with a high neckline at the Fashion Trust US Awards in Los Angeles.
“Watch out for Ella in my directorial debut, Propeller One-Way Night Bus,” he wrote.
