Joe Manganiello is engaged to Caitlin O’Connor!
The couple announced their engagement on Friday, sharing a snapshot of their summer proposal on Instagram.
In the photo, the two were smiling for the camera while O’Connor flaunted her ring.
“💍June 24, 2025💍,” they captioned their joint post.
The night before, the actor also leaked the news Thursday night when he introduced his partner of two years as his fiancée at the San Diego Film Festival, according to TMZ.
While accepting the Career Spotlight Award, Manganiello thanked his soon-to-be wife for her love and support.
A source confirmed the engagement to the media and said that the two are excited about the next chapter.
Rumors of engagement first surfaced in June when O’Connor was spotted wearing a ring while dining at Le Naumatier restaurant in Taormina, Italy.
The “True Blood” actor and O’Connor first dated in September 2023, and reports surfaced that they were casually dating.
The couple debuted their relationship in December of the same year by attending the Armenian Children’s Fund Gala at Cipriani in New York City.
Shortly after they moved in together in February 2024, the two officially opened Instagram and have been active ever since.
Manganiello and O’Connor’s relationship began less than two months after he filed for divorce from Sofia Vergara.
The former lovers confirmed their divorce in a statement to Page Six, saying: “As two people who love and care for each other, we respectfully ask that our privacy be respected at this time as we begin a new phase in our lives.”
Page Six first revealed the ex-couple’s separation after seven years of marriage, with a source saying that the topic of children was a major factor in the split.
Sources close to Manganiello claimed that Manganiello always wanted to be a father and that desire only grew stronger as the years went by, but Vergara, who welcomed his son Manolo at the age of 19, did not have a similar interest.
We also heard that the “Modern Family” actress felt Manganiello was an “unsupportive partner.”
After the split, a friend of Vergara’s said: “Sofia is living her best life and spending time with friends after being suffocated by a partner who is hardly supportive.”
“Sofia was always there to take care of Joe, but his career wasn’t what it was when they met,” the friend added. “I think he’s threatened by her success and joie de vivre.”
After terminating Manganiello’s contract, the Colombian bombshell briefly moved on with Justin Saliman. She also sparked romance rumors with Lewis Hamilton, Tom Brady, and most recently Douglas Chabot.
