Jessica Simpson proudly shows off her botched plastic surgery face in a behind-the-scenes video shot while filming Hulu’s legal drama “All’s Fair.”
“I mean, this face,” the actress quipped in an Instagram video, laughing as she showed off her exaggerated prosthetic facial features, including big cheeks, lips, and a broken nose pad.
Simpson, 45, danced to Peggy Lee’s “Fever” in the social media clip, at one point pulling up her dress to reveal fishnet stockings and a garter.
“Introducing the ultimate badass with a heart of gold,” she captioned the video. “It took an incredible village (and 6 hours with a prosthetic leg!) to bring her back to life for @hulu’s #AllsFair. Wow…what an amazing ride.”
The “Take My Breath Away” hitmaker continued that the character is one that “can disappear with real depth and emotion.”
“I loved it because no one had given me the opportunity to do something like this before,” she continued. “I hope everyone sees LeeAnne’s heart and her strength the same way I did.”
The first three episodes of the show, which had been panned by critics, were canceled on Tuesday, with Simpson appearing in the third episode.
The songstress played a woman who takes revenge on her ex-lover who cheated on her. This love story seems to have been inspired by Tommy Lee and Pamela Anderson.
The former reality star teased her “very intense” role in an interview with Deadline in May.
At the time, she said it took eight hours to modify her prosthetic leg and gushed about how “fun” it was to work with co-star Kim Kardashian.
“Our kids are best friends,” the singer said, referring to daughter Maxwell, 13, and Kardashian’s oldest son North, 12.
“It felt kind of natural to be on set,” she continued. “We had fun working together. She did all the lawyer talk and I did all the complaining.”
The show, created by Ryan Murphy, also stars A-list actors such as Sarah Paulson, Glenn Close, and Naomi Watts.
The series received an abysmal 0% rating on Rotten Tomatoes and was dubbed the “Worst TV Show”.
But director Anthony Hemingway on Wednesday clapped back at haters by defending the courtroom drama.
“It takes a minute for the show to really start,” he claimed to The Hollywood Reporter. “But it definitely feels fresh and creatively fulfilling.”
Hemingway also appears to have specifically addressed the scathing reviews of Kardashian’s performance.
“You can’t define something and expect it to be the whole of it,” he defended.
