Additionally, it has been confirmed that Karen Rodriguez and Hunter Emery will return as series regulars for the second season of the drama series. Rodriguez will play Deputy Salazar and Emery will play Deputy Flynn. Blanton Box, who plays Sheriff Johnny, will also guest star.
As previously reported, Brittany Snow, Malin Akerman, Jamie Ray Newman, Dermot Mulroney, Evan Jonigkeit, and George Ferrier will be returning for season 2. The official logline for Season 2 reads: “Sophie (Snow) and Margo (Ackerman) are ostracized, but soon old secrets and new enemies bring them back together. As they play a dangerous game, the question arises: Are they the Hunter, or are they the Hunter?” Hunted? ”
“The Hunting Wives” is based on the book of the same name by May Cobb. The series is produced by Lionsgate TV and 3 Arts Entertainment. Rebecca Cutter develops the series for television and serves as showrunner and executive producer. 3 Arts Entertainment’s Erwin Stoff will also executive produce alongside Cobb.
The series was originally released on Netflix on July 21st and was only available in the US, but ended up spending five weeks on the Global Top 10 English TV list. The show was originally founded on Starz before Netflix acquired the U.S. rights, and international rights were a key sticking point in its eventual Season 2 renewal. The second season will be available in almost every country where Netflix is available.
