Ferrell was a cast member of “SNL” from 1995 to 2001, and tonight’s episode was his sixth time hosting the show. He recently appeared on “SNL’s” 50th anniversary special, which aired in February 2025. Ferrell is hosting to promote his upcoming Netflix comedy “The Hawk.”
