The search for the next “Top Chef” has officially begun.

Bravo’s hit cooking show returns for Season 23 tonight, March 9th. It’s also returning to somewhat familiar territory. After Season 14 was filmed entirely in Charleston, South Carolina, Season 23 will be set in North and South Carolina, with the Top Chef kitchen located in Steele Creek, North Carolina.

According to Bravo, the next “Top Chef” will receive $250,000, a feature in Food & Wine magazine, an appearance at the annual Food & Wine Classic in Aspen, Colorado, the chance to headline a special dinner at the James Beard House in New York, and the opportunity to present at the James Beard Restaurant and Chef Awards in Chicago.

After tonight’s episode, “Top Chef” will move to its regular time next Monday, March 16 at 9:30pm ET. Each episode of “Top Chef” season 23 is 75 minutes long.

How to watch ‘Top Chef’ for free

‘Top Chef’ season 23 judge

Kristen Kish, winner of Season 10 of “Top Chef,” will return for her third season as host of “Top Chef.” Head judge Tom Colicchio and “Top Chef” mainstay Gail Simmons make up the remaining judges.

Bravo’s “Southern Charm” cast members Madison Lucroy and Craig Conover will serve as guest judges, according to a trailer for the season, which airs on location in the Carolinas.
