“Vanderpump Rules” and “Vanderpump Villa” star Stassi Schroeder has been cast in Hulu’s new series “House of Stassi,” while Khloe Kardashian is working on a new reality series, “The Girls.” These were two announcements revealed Wednesday during Hulu’s “Get Real” event.
House of Stassi will premiere in two episodes on Freeform on July 29, and the full season will be available to stream on Hulu on July 30 (including Hulu on Disney+ and Disney+ in select international markets).
The logline is: “Reality TV’s most notorious fan favorite, Stassi Schroeder, is returning to the spotlight to redefine her place in pop culture. But staying on top means confronting the ghosts of her past and a chaotic inner circle with a talent for disrupting her life.”
Director Schroeder will co-star with Katie Maloney, Beau Clark, Christina Kelly, Taylor Strecker, Georgiana Aubin, Rob Evers, and Taylor “Teddy” Donahue. “House of Stassi” is a production of Scout Productions and Belcheri Productions. Erin Foy and Jenna Rosenfeld will serve as showrunners and executive producers. Schroeder, David Collins, Michael Williams, Renata Lombardo, David Marker, Eric Korsh, and Simone Hilliard have also released EPs.
As for “The Girls,” the show continues, “The real-life best friends of the Kardashian inner circle raise babies, run businesses, and survive brutally honest group chats. From surprise proposals to solo parenting, glamorous vacations to growing pains, this is a new-age reality show where chaos is haute couture and bonds are unbreakable.”
Starring Natalie Halcro (@nataliehalcro), Khadijah Haq (@foreverkhadijah), Malika Haq (@malika), Yris Palmer (@yrispalmer), Olivia Pierson (@oliviapierson), and Nicole Williams English (@justnic).
