Haylie Duff stands by her sister Hilary Duff amid mom group drama with ‘Lizzie McGuire’ alum Ashley Tisdale.
Hailey liked The Cut’s Instagram post promoting Tisdale’s divisive essay, which was published on New Year’s Day.
Her thumbs-up on the post may suggest she agrees with the “High School Musical” star’s message, which was headlined “Breaking Up With Toxic Mom Groups.”
Once inseparable, Hailey, 40, and Hilary, 38, have not been photographed together since 2019, leading fans to believe the sisters are at odds with each other.
The “So Yesterday” singer added fuel to the fire by admitting she was struggling with “family drama” in a November 2025 interview with Rolling Stone.
It’s unclear why there is tension between the two actresses, but a source told Dumoy that Hailey and her fiancé Matthew Rosenberg don’t get along with Hilary’s husband Matthew Koma.
Haley and Tisdale’s apparent match further suggests that she and Hilary are not on good terms.
Tisdale recently faced backlash after stating in a piece that she felt she wasn’t “cool enough” for a group of moms that included Hilary, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.
She also wrote that she felt left out when they didn’t invite her to hangouts.
Eventually she texted the group and said, “It’s too high school for me and I don’t want to participate anymore.”
Ms Tisdale, 40, said she doesn’t think mothers are “bad people”, but that she wants to get rid of them after “this dynamic is no longer healthy and positive”, except for “maybe one”.
The “Suite Life of Zack and Cody” star claimed that he realized he wasn’t actually part of the group when the group exhibited “mean girl behavior” and wasn’t invited to several hangouts.
On Monday, Page Six reported that Tisdale was missing from photos from a group vacation last October.
Tisdale was last photographed with the Boosie crew in December 2024.
After the essay went viral, Hillary’s husband attacked Tisdale in a fiery message Tuesday night.
Koma posted a photo of herself in the same pose as Tisdale in an article for The Cut. He added the headline, “When you’re the most self-centered tone-deaf person on the planet, other mothers tend to shift their focus to their actual toddlers.”
Tisdale’s husband, Christopher French, also weighed in on the drama himself, posting a cryptic quote on his Instagram Story that read, “It’s your choice to be involved.”
Hillary has yet to respond to Tisdale’s accusations.
Page Six has reached out to representatives for Hilary, Haley and Tisdale.
