As Brooklyn’s feud with her family intensifies, Harper Beckham returns to social media with a post praising her brother Romeo.
Over the weekend, the youngest son of David and Victoria Beckham reposted on Instagram a photo of his model brother who walked the runway at Willy Chavarria’s Paris Fashion Week show on Friday.
The caption of the video, which was also shared by Romeo, 23, and David, 50, read: “Another!! Another great show x @romeobeckham @willychavarria.”
Representatives for the Brooklyn borough did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment on Saturday.
Brothers Romeo and Cruise Beckham, 20, were then spotted on a double date in Paris on Saturday with their respective girlfriends Kim Turnbull and Jackie Apostle.
Meanwhile, David and Victoria reflected on fond family memories on Friday in a comment thread on British photographer Plato’s Instagram post, in which Plato shared a 2006 snapshot featuring David’s tattoos with the names Romeo, Cruise and Brooklyn.
The athlete commented, “Good memories,” and Victoria added, “It brings back great memories!” along with a heart emoji.
Harper, 14, along with other family members has avoided addressing the controversy amid a growing rift, but sources say Brooklyn, 26, “loves and misses” her youngest sibling and “wish there was a way to see him without having to meet his parents.”
“They were really good friends and Harper was good friends with Nicola, so it’s heartbreaking to see this drama come between them,” a source added earlier this week, referring to Brooklyn’s wife Nicola Peltz.
Harper reportedly feels the same way. A source told The Sun in December, right in the middle of the holidays: “I really miss my brother and Nicola.”
Brooklyn famously posted a surprising bombshell on Instagram on Monday, slamming multiple accusations against her famous parents and stating that she “doesn’t want to reconcile” with them.
Among the most explosive allegations were that her parents controlled “reporting about our family” and that the former Spice Girl “had to scramble to find a new dress at the 11th hour after Nicola canceled the production of her[wedding]dress” for her April 2022 wedding, even though she was “so looking forward to wearing her design”.
Brooklyn also claimed that her mother, a fashion designer, “hijacked” her first dance with the bride and began dancing “very inappropriately at me in front of everyone.”
“I have never felt so uncomfortable and humiliated in my entire life,” he added.
A soiree guest previously revealed to Page Six that after Marc Anthony invited “the most beautiful woman in the room,” Victoria “came on stage and put her arm around Brooklyn” and “snuggled into his neck” during their first dance.
“She was dancing with him very inappropriately,” they told us. “She stole that moment from Nicola. That’s God’s truth.”
Others, including Butler, who spoke to The Sun yesterday, called Peltz a “problem” and accused her of giving Brooklyn an ultimatum following the now-infamous incident.
“After the wedding, Nicola became adamant about Brooklyn. She has to choose between me and her mother,” the butler claimed to the outlet.
As for Brooklyn, he made clear his loyalty to his wife in a statement, hitting back at the “narrative that[his wife]is in control,” saying that idea is “completely backwards.”
“Neither my wife nor I want a life defined by images, coverage, or manipulation,” he wrote. “All we want is peace, privacy and happiness for ourselves and our future families.”
